Nilaveli - Sizzling Beach of Trincomalee

One of the biggest wonders of Trincomalee is the Nilaveli Beach, which is described as one of the finest beaches in Sri Lanka. Nilaveli lies about 15KM to the north of Trincomalee Town.

Best Time To Visit Nilaveli

Summer Season : May – October
During the Summer Season, Nilaveli is fabulous. The sea is calm, the weather is fine and watersports are possible.
Winter Season : November - April
The sea tends to be slightly rough and the hotels experience low occupancy. A good choice if you want to get away from it all on a deserted beach.

The sea is excellent for swimming all year round as the water temperature is very warm and ideal for relaxing and swimming for the whole day.
